About Our Temple

Maa Umiya, also known as Umiya Mata, is the revered Kuldevi (family goddess) of the Patidar community and is worshipped with immense devotion throughout Gujarat and beyond. She is considered the embodiment of Shakti — divine feminine energy that represents strength, protection, and prosperity.

According to tradition, Maa Umiya protects her devotees from harm, blesses them with prosperity, and guides them through life's challenges. Her primary temple is located in Unjha, Gujarat, where millions of devotees visit annually to seek her blessings.

The Tri-State Umiya Dham in Cincinnati was established to bring Maa Umiya's divine presence to the Gujarati community in the United States, allowing devotees to maintain their spiritual connection and cultural traditions while living abroad.

The temple conducts daily aartis, hosts major festivals like Navratri and Umiya Jayanti, and provides a space for community gatherings, religious education, and cultural celebrations.
